The number of exchange spots for third-year Automotive Engineering students to UCD is set at 20% of the total number of second-year students.
Eligibility Requirements
A minimum GPA of 3.08.
All English course grades during the second academic year must be no lower than C+.
Applicants must not have any failed courses during the application period.
Exchange Fees
Students will pay tuition fees as international students at UCD. Meanwhile, students from CDIC will receive a scholarship to offset the standard tuition fee for non-EU undergraduate students at UCD.
Non-EU undergraduate tuition fee:€29,500
CDIC Scholarship:€7,000
Remaining balance to be paid by students:€22,500 (to be paid directly to UCD)
Additionally, students will pay tuition fees to Chang’an University to maintain their enrollment status at Chang’an University and eligibility for a Chang’an University degree. This fee is 50% of CDIC’s annual tuition fee and will be paid directly to Chang’an University.

Automotive Engineering Stage 3 (NMS4)
As you are already a UCD student, there is no need to create a new account. Select“Use Existing Account”and enter your UCD student ID as the username. The password will be the same as the one you currently use to access UCD systems. After logging in, the page will display your personal information and selected courses. After verifying all information is correct, click“Submit”. You will receive an email in your UCD account to confirm submission. You will receive the application result after the deadline of May 19.
Additional Information
Students must arrive in Dublin by September 2. The academic year ends on May 17.
