UCD Delegation Visits Chang'an University to Strengthen Cooperation

On June 23, 2025, a delegation from University College Dublin (UCD), led by Vice President and Dean of Arts and Humanities Regina Uí Chollatáin, visited Chang'an University to strengthen bilateral ties. The delegation included key members such as Paul Fanning, Provost of UCD China International College, and other academic leaders. They were welcomed by Fan Wen, Vice President of Chang'an University.



During the meeting, Fan Wen expressed warm greetings and appreciation for UCD's long-term cooperation efforts. He highlighted the success of the joint Chang'an Dublin International College, noting its role in improving talent cultivation and building a mutually beneficial partnership. He emphasized the goal of deepening exchanges to establish the college as a model for Sino-foreign educational collaboration.

Regina Uí Chollatáin thanked Chang'an University for the hospitality and acknowledged its investments in campus facilities and faculty, which have supported UCD's internationalization and QS ranking growth. She proposed expanding cooperation in curriculum development, research, and doctoral programs, while leveraging her arts background to foster cultural exchanges.



The visit included a tour of CDIC, student discussions, and attendance at the 2025 graduation ceremony.
