To celebrate the 116th International Women’s Day, CDIC held a plant printing handicraft experience on the afternoon of March 6 in the fourth-floor conference room. Female faculty and staff, including international colleagues, participated.
The venue had a warm, festive setup. A professional instructor explained plant printing’s cultural background, craft features, and steps, highlighting its uses in Chinese and Western cultures.
During the hands-on session, participants selected leaves, arranged layouts, tapped to transfer prints, and shared tips. Green leaves became unique artworks, creating a lively atmosphere. Faculty and staff said the event was innovative—they learned a skill while relaxing from work stress.

The activity showed festival care, built a cross-cultural exchange platform, and strengthened faculty bonds. The College will keep holding diverse cultural events to support faculty well-being and boost their sense of fulfillment, happiness, and belonging, pooling strength for quality development of CDIC.
