1. About Chang’an University
Chang’an University is a university directly under the Ministry of Education of China. It is among the first group of key universities under the national “211 Project”, a university included in the national “985 Innovative Platforms for Key Disciplines”, and a national “Double First-Class” construction university. Located in Xi’an, a famous historical and cultural city, the university has two campuses (North and South), bordering the Big Wild Goose Pagoda to the south and the Weihe River to the north. It operates three teaching and practice bases at Taibai Mountain, Liangshan and Weihe, with a campus area of 3745 mu.
The university currently has 13 first-level doctoral programs, 4 professional doctoral degree categories, 34 first-level master’s programs, and 21 professional master’s degree categories, with 9 postdoctoral research stations. It hosts 25 schools (departments, centers) covering 11 discipline categories: philosophy, economics, law, literature, science, engineering, management, education, agriculture, art, and interdisciplinary studies.
The faculty includes 4 academicians (Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Engineering, Singapore Academy of Engineering), more than 1,400 professors and associate professors, 505 doctoral supervisors and 1,614 master’s supervisors. Total enrollment includes over 25,000 full-time undergraduates, more than 13,000 doctoral and master’s students, and over 2,300 international students.

2. About Chang’an-Dublin International College of Transportation
Chang’an-Dublin International College of Transportation is a Chinese-foreign cooperative education institution jointly established by Chang’an University (China) and University College Dublin (Ireland). It was officially approved by the Ministry of Education in April 2020 to offer undergraduate education.The college offers three undergraduate programs under Chinese-foreign cooperative education:Civil Engineering Infrastructure、Automotive Engineering、Transport City Planning and Environmental Policy.The college has an international faculty: University College Dublin has dispatched more than 20 professional teachers to work permanently at the college, supported by doctoral teaching assistants for regular teaching. Chang’an University has selected more than 80 teachers with bilingual or full-English teaching capacity from the School of Highway, School of Automobile, and School of Transportation to form professional teaching teams for bilingual/full-English instruction. More than 30 language teachers are also employed to ensure comprehensive teaching quality.
Focusing on the intelligent upgrading of the transportation industry, the college cultivates innovative and interdisciplinary talents with an international vision, building an important international exchange platform for the innovative development of the global transportation sector.
To date, the college has graduated four cohorts totaling 891 students, with an overall further-study rate of 70.6%, including an overseas further-study rate of 40.4%. Graduates are highly recognized by top universities worldwide and pursue advanced studies at prestigious institutions including Stanford University, Imperial College London, National University of Singapore, Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.

1.Age requirement: As of July 15, 2026, applicants with a doctoral degree should generally be under 33 years old (born after July 15, 1993); age may be appropriately relaxed for postdoctoral candidates.

5. Employment Arrangement
Full-time faculty will be managed under the “Tenure-track – Tenure” system. New recruits will be appointed to tenure-track positions and may be transferred to tenured positions upon meeting relevant conditions. The tenure-track period is generally 6 years, with employment contracts signed every 3 years.
