From May 22 to 24, the finals of the 21st National College Student Transportation Science and Technology Competition were held at Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture. A team led by Du Chenxuan, a 2024 undergraduate student from Chang'an Dublin International College of Transportation, won the National First Prize with their project "Chang'an Navigation — An Integrated Perception-Decision-Execution System for Airport FOD Management under Complex Conditions." In addition, CDIC students secured 4 Provincial First Prizes, 11 Provincial Second Prizes, and 11 Provincial Third Prizes in the competition.

The National College Student Transportation Science and Technology Competition is the most influential and professional student science and technology competition in China's transportation field. This year's competition attracted 141 universities nationwide and received 1,276 entries. After rigorous review, 296 outstanding works from 93 universities advanced to the finals, with over 1,500 teachers and students competing on-site.

The outstanding results demonstrated the college's high-quality education and talent development. The college will continue to promote the mechanism of "learning and innovation through competition," providing greater support for students to develop their innovative potential and grow into high-level transportation professionals who serve national needs.
