Profile

Zhang Jiupeng holds a doctoral degree in engineering and is a professor, doctoral supervisor, and recipient of the National Youth Talent Program award. His primary research focuses on road and airport engineering, with concurrent roles as Deputy Director of the Civil Aviation Key Laboratory, Vice President of the Shaanxi Intelligent Transportation Promotion Association, and Vice President of the Shaanxi Railway Association. He has been honored with awards such as the Huo Yingdong Foundation Young Faculty Award and the Wu Fu-Zhenhua Outstanding Teacher Award.

Research Achievements

In recent years, he has led over 20 national and provincial projects, including key research programs under China’s National Key R&D Program and the National Natural Science Foundation. As first author or corresponding author, he has published more than 60 SCI-indexed papers (including 5 ESI highly cited papers and 1 hot paper), authored 1 monograph, co-authored 2 books, and secured 19 invention patents and 13 utility model patents as the first inventor. His contributions have earned him 7 provincial/ministerial-level scientific and technological awards.

Teaching Contributions

He has led 5 national and provincial teaching reform projects, including the Ministry of Education’s New Engineering Discipline Initiative and Shaanxi Province’s Key Teaching Reform Programs. He has published over 10 teaching-related papers and developed 4 nationally and provincially recognized courses, including high-quality resource-sharing courses and innovation entrepreneurship programs. His teaching excellence has been recognized with the Second Prize of the National Teaching Achievement Award, the Special Prize and First Prize of the Shaanxi Provincial Teaching Achievement Award, the First Prize in the Youth Teaching Competition, and the Third Prize in the Micro-lecture Competition. Under his guidance, students have won nearly 20 major awards, including the National Third Prize in the "Challenge Cup," National Second Prize in the Transportation Science Competition, Shaanxi Provincial Special Prize in the "Challenge Cup," and Shaanxi Silver Award in the "Internet+" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.
