CDIC launched a national security theme education activity for students from class of 2020

With the approaching of the 6th National Security Education Day, the Student Affairs Department of CDIC launched a national security theme education activity for 2020 students in the lecture hall on the 4th floor of Hongyuan Buildingat 17:00 on April 12, 2021. The purpose of this theme education is to enhance the students' national security awareness, clarify the boundaries of national security, and call on everyone to jointly safeguard national security. This activity was hosted by Li Yuhang-instructor of class of 2020.



At the beginning of the activity, Li Yuhang clarified the concept of national security to the students from the definition of national security and the significance of setting up the National Security Education Day for all people. Later, he used specific cases of undermining national security to let the students understand that national security is not only limited to the level of defending the country from aggression, but should be expanded to economic, social, ecological environment, cyberspace and other aspects. It is closely related to everyone's life. In addition, Mr. Li selected and explained some relevant laws and regulations of crimes against national security from “Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China”. This not onlyenriched the students' relevant legal knowledge, but also increased their attention to national security. Finally, he called on the students to faithfully perform their duties and obligations to maintain national security, and strive to be the defenders of national security in their dailylives.



In our daily lives, we must be vigilant at all times. We shouldn’t be credulous and greedy.We shouldactively use our practical actions to gather together to defend nationalsecurity.
