In order to promote the spirit of patriotism, popularize national defense education, and enable students to master related necessary knowledge and military skills, consciously fulfill their national defense obligations, care for, support, and participate in national defense construction, the armed forces department of the university came to CDIC at 19:00 on April 7th, carried out theProtect our homes and defend our countrypublicity activities. Li Jian, Chang’an university’soutstanding retired students and Hongyi Squadron,gave a lecture on national defense security education and enlistment policy. The counselorof class 0f 2018,Zeng Yan,and some CDICstudentsparticipated in the activity. This event was presided over by Liu Tianyu, deputy chief of the National Defense Education Section of the Ministry of ArmedForces.

Li Jian shared his army experience, and call for enlistment. He started with the paratroopers he served, and shared his unforgettable experience of skydiving and sniper trainingwith students. Although the military career is difficult, but in Li Jian's sonorous wordsshowed thesincerity and enthusiasm of thesoldiers.

After that, Li Jian shared his tactical training in Daliang Mountain and the loving education program to help children in the mountain. It further proves that the Chinese People's Liberation Army is not only guardian for the country to fight against enemies, but also an ambassador to help and care for the people. As a result, the students have a deeper understanding of the Chinese People's LiberationArmy.

Finally, the students watched the enlistment video together. After the presentation, the students actively communicated with LiJian.
