On the morning of October 12th, CDIC held a symposium on cultural exhibition project. All college administrations, college special consultants, heads of various departments, employees of the college comprehensive office and representatives of project design units attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Yao Yiliang, deputy dean of CDIC.

Lu Qianni (from the General Office), first briefly introduced the general situation and basic planning of CDIC’s cultural display project to everyone, and gave a preliminary introduction to the project division of eachdepartment.

Yao Yiliang gave a supplementary explanation to the project plan and arranged the preparation of specific materials. He pointed out that the cultural display project of CDIC should be divided into blocks to fully display the overall design and explore the history and culture of the two countries and the two universities. Each area must have a clear theme, reflect CDIC’s international characteristicsand each majors’characteristics, integrate patriotism education and current affairs politics, and the characteristics of Sino-foreign cooperationeducation.At the same time, combined with the architectural structure and space characteristics of each floor of the teaching building, he further confirmed the form and content of thiscultural exhibitionprojects.

Yang Guanghui, a special consultant of CDIC, proposed amendments to the project, and proposed improvements and supplementary comments on the arrangement and planning of some major venues.He discussed details related to the presentation form and copywriting design with the designer, and provided the designer with valuable design ideas andopinions.

Bai Qiang put forward some suggestions on part of the design and layout, and provided new ideas for the overall planning of theproject.

Wang Hainian summarized the overall meeting and affirmed the discussion results of the meeting. He said that CDIC’scultural display is the starting point for its connotation construction and external publicity. He hopes to highlight CDIC through the design and decoration of its public areas, show the characteristics of "New Engineering+Big Transportation+Internationalization",create a high-quality teaching and learning environment for teachers andstudents.
