On August 10, Wang Hainian, dean of CDIC, led a team to JU-UIUC Institute, ZhejiangUniversity (ZJUI) for visiting and study. The purpose of this visit is to promote the development of CDIC and learn from the experience of similar colleges and universities in Sino-foreign cooperative education projects. Ma Hao, Associate Dean of ZJUI, had a discussion with CDIC research team on the Campus of ZhejiangUniversity.
Ma Hao gave an introduction on ZJUI’s basic situation, organizationalstructure,enrollment majors, faculty and student cultivation, focusing on the optimization of cultivation programs, teacher-student interaction, whole-process learning evaluation, and the combination of theory and practice.Heusedexamples of engineering and systems science platform, teacher seminar system, student engineering cross-innovation team, etc.,toillustrate in detailaboutthe cultivation characteristics of the ZJUI in cross-integrationinnovation.
Wang Hainian, deanof CDIC,thanked ZJUI for the warm reception on behalf of CDIC, and introduced the basic situation of the CDICin terms of its development, management structure, major settings, teaching resources, and teachingorganization.
During the meeting, the two parties conducted in-depth communication on the future construction and development direction of CDIC, as well as the quality of the source of students, academic promotion, educational administration, and studentaffairs.

After the meeting, the participants visited the multifunctional hall, lecture hall and teaching building of Zhejiang University Haining International Campus. The two colleges exchanged souvenirs and took photostogether.
