CDIC Held a Meeting to Celebrate the Teachers’ Day with the International Teachers

On the afternoon of 9th Sep, 2021, CDIC held a meeting for the international teachers to celebrate the coming 37th Teachers’ Day at the 4th floor of Hongyuan building. The dean of the college, Wang Hainian, deputy secretary, Yao Yiliang, deputy dean, Bai Qiang, as well as the international teachers who are at the campus and related staff took part of the meeting. The meeting was hosted by the deputy dean, Bai Qiang.

At the meeting, Wang Hainian expressed sincere greetings and best wishes to all the international teachers on behalf of CDIC. As he stated, international teachers are important parts of the college, and all the international teachers are expected to fit into the big family. On top of that, the college would spare no pains to support the international teachers in any problems encountered in their work and life.

Yao gave a brief introduction of CDIC student enrollment in 2021. He also gave great recognition for the international teachers’ hard work. He said, any tiny improvement of the college is made from all the staff’s efforts, intelligence, and talent. He also pointed out the two purposes of the meeting: the first is to invite everyone to speak freely. Any trouble or doubt in work and life shall be coordinated by the college; The second is to inspire the teachers to participate more in the college activities so as to get to know the real China even more, to share their thoughts and experience with more people, and to enhance CDIC’s international level and impacts.

The international language teachers, David, Gary, Joe, and Puii shared their own thoughts and suggestions one by one. They expressed their pleasure for teaching in CDIC, and took the pride for the international teacher team of this international college. They also expressed their sincere gratitude for the help in both work and life that supported by the college, wishing to contribute their own efforts to teaching and other aspects in the future. They also expect to participate more in collective activities to learn more about Chinese culture, and help to promote CDIC’s international exchange and cooperation.

In the end, the three leaders handed out the Teachers’ Day gifts and took pictures with all the present members.
