On the morning of March 8th, CDIC held a meeting of all the staff in the conference room on the fourth floor of Hongyuan Teaching Building to convey the spirit of the meeting "Full and Strict Party Self-governance, Propaganda and Ideology, and Security and Stability" of the university, and arranged related work based on the actual situation of the college. College leaders, heads of departments and all faculty members attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Zhao Liang, Secretary of the General Party Branch of CDIC.

The Meeting Scene

At the meeting, Zhao Liang conveyed the spirit of the series meeting of the university and related work requirements. He emphasized a few points. Firstly,the college should take the political building of the Party as its guide, and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Party Central Committee’s strategic plan for exercising full and strict Party self-governance into all aspects of the whole process of the college’s work. It should closely combine the task of inspection and rectification with the key work of the college, and continue to deepen the "second half of the article" of inspection and rectification. Secondly, the college should strictly implement the responsibility system for ideological work, vigorously carry out publicity and education on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Party, manage and make good use of various online ideological positions such as the official website of the college, WeChat public account and video account, and strictly implement the systems of "Three Reviews and Three Proofreadings" and "One Meeting and One Report". Thirdly, the college should constantly strengthen the construction of students' Party branch according to the characteristics of Sino-foreign cooperative education in the college and give full play to the exemplary and leading role of party members and cadres, and further enhance the pertinence and timeliness of ideological and political work, resolutely guarding against and resisting campus missionary infiltration. Fourthly, the college should stick to the bottom line thinking, put prevention first, carry out in-depth safety education, strengthen communication and liaison with foreign teachers, improve the contingency plan for teachers and students going abroad, and resolutely prevent and resolve security and stability risks.

Subsequently, the leadership of the college and related departments carried out a special discussion about the academic atmosphere construction of CDIC.The meeting stressed that the construction of academic atmosphere is an inevitable requirement for the implementation of the fundamental task of “Establishing Virtue and Cultivating Talents”, and is related to the long-term development of the college. The faculty and staff should adhere to the principle of "Strict Control of Academic Misconduct" and work together to create a good situation of the academic atmosphere construction.
