Under the system of elective examinations, high school studies must be prepared in accordance with the plan, with suitable learning methods, and an exam preparation mentality that is guarded against arrogance and rashness.”

Learning method-the way to use

Chinese & English:

As two compulsory liberal arts subjects, Chinese and English are very important, and there are similarities in the learning of the two.Making effort at the last momenthas no effect on these two subjects. In peacetime, we should persist in accumulation ofknowledge.

In terms of language, based on the basic knowledge, we continue to accumulate the meaning and usage of idioms that are prone to typos and confusion, and the collation of various commonly used substantive and function words in classical Chinese. It is best to have your own accumulation book, and use different colored pens to mark words of different proficiency levels. Take a part of the time for self-study every morning and evening to review several times; in reading, you should continue to increase your reading of various types of argumentative, narratives and other types of articles, integrate your thinking into reading, and try to understand the main idea and structure of the article. Generalize and summarize the main idea of the paragraph, and try to give your own views and thoughts on the subject of this article; in terms of composition, you should usually work hard to improve yourwriting by reading the model essayand compare your own essays with them to try to find the deficiencies in terms, sentences and article structure.

In terms of English, there must be a plan for accumulating vocabulary memorization every day. Every day vocabulary must be memorized for at least three consecutive days to deepenyourmemory; there must be listening trainings every day, and you can consider listening to English materials such as BBC, VOA, etc. Try 1.5-2.0 times faster listening training, so youcan feel easeduring the exam.

Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology:

As a science subjects, huge amount of practiceson these four subjects should be done. However, on the basis of practice, you must learn to summarize the same knowledge points, question types, problem-solving methods, etc., and sort out the wrong problem problems, related problem-solving methods, knowledge points of each type of test and the problem-solving process, and review from time to time.

Politics, History, Geography:

As a liberal arts subject, memorizing is very important in these subjects, and we need to sort out and memorize the complicated knowledge points in it. We'd better have the corresponding knowledge points organizingnotebook, which is used to organize the knowledge points that are easy to forget and easy to confuse. Geography, as a science related subjects, should pay more attention to integrating with reality in addition to accumulating knowledge points.

Exam preparation mentality-the secret of the body

The learning method is like the parts of a ship, but the mentalityduring exampreparation is the helmsman of the entire ship.

On the eve ofthe college entrance examination, despite the high pressure, there are many subjects that need to be reviewed. However, you should pay attention to the combination of work and rest, and adjust your mental state in time. Before the college entrance examination, I insisted on exercising for half an hour to an hour a day. The purpose is to relieve myself from the intense review rhythm. At the same time, I also arranged a plan to read extracurricular books every day, and read some interesting books to relax.I readMr. Lin Qingxuan's various collections of prose to relax, thencontinue learning.

On the eve of the college entrance examination, you don’t have to think too much, adjust your mental state: if you have worked hard and tried your best, that’s enough.

Pace of the examination

When it's time for the exam, relax and answer the questions carefully. However, in terms of thepace,it is recommended to first review the papers to get a general understanding, then start with simple questions, then medium-difficulty questions, and finally difficult problems. Don't spend too much time on one question. What you should pursue in the exam is that most of the questions are correct.

In addition, try not to be interfered by surrounding students during the exam, concentrate on doing your own questions, and grasp your own pace. Take mathematics as an example. During the college entrance examination, I chose to fill in all the questions except the last one or two in 30 minutes. In 70 minutes, I completed all the questions except the number sequence and the last question of plane analytical geometry. I completed thecheckingofquestions in 90 minutes. and then use the remaining 30 minutes to solve theundoquestions. The pace of each subject is best to be cultivated as a habit in the mock exams, so that you will not worried about whether you will be too slow during the real exams.

Qi Hanlin:

currently a publicity committee member of the first class of Road Bridge and River Crossing Project (Sino-foreign joint education), graduated from Hengshui No.1 Middle School.

"Slow down and enjoy this journey. Maybe success is not determined by how many goals and what achievements we can achieve, but is to enjoy every month, every day, every moment.Don’t regret your high school life.“

Learning method:

Chinese:

Multiple choice questions:

Do many questions. Because multiple choice questions are generally related to ill-formed sentences and idioms, as long as you do more questions and accumulate more, you can accumulate some common error-prone idioms and types of ill-formed sentences. As time goes by, you can usually see the answer at the last glance.

Classical Chinese:

Write down the meaning of words that appear frequently but you don't know the specific meaning. In this way, after a period of accumulation, classical Chinese translation can also be solved.

Poetry and short answer questions inreading:

Be sure to answer inpoint form, each with a serial number; summarize the keywords first, and then start a specific analysis.

composition:

The font is actually very important. I recommend using 0.7 pen to write, so that the written characters are neater. For the content, you can recite famous quotes and wonderful passages for analysis to improve your writing.

Mathematics:

Sometimesthe knowledge points are understood, but the mistakes are made because of careless. We must notlook down onsuch mistakes, and then cultivate the habit of circlingor underliningkeyword when doing the questions.

For knowledge that you don’t know, you should first find your own weaknesses through school exams and exercises, count your scores in each part of the mock exam. It is recommended to prepare amistake notebook and write detailed answering steps and the cause of the error. Themistake notebook is very important. In the final review of the college entrance examination, the wrong question book can beused toreviewe.

English:

The first thing to do in English review is to memorize vocabularies. This is very important. Repeatto memorize withperseverance. Set 20 minutes a day to memorize the words, and try to memorize the words in a specific context.

Regarding reading and listening, the method can besummed up in one sentence: develop English thinking by doing more practices.

Writing requires more practice, try touse more attributive clauses and good vocabulary

Integrated test in science:

The review of these three subjects has one thing in common, that is, the importance of textbooks. Because these three subjects have experimental questions, and most of these experiments are adapted from the experiments in the textbook. While reading the textbook, we shouldthink about the purpose of the experiment, why the experiment is designed this way, and how the experiment can be improved.

Physics:

We must be good at transforming complex problems into a combination of simple basic problems

Chemistry:

I suggest preparing a smallnotebook to record some standard answers.

Biology:

We must memorize more. Many questions in biology are investigations of the contents of books. The most difficult genetic analysis is only a question of probability, you can solve that by practicing more.

In short, it is an exam that requires high time utilization, because it have the most number of questionsand it takelongest. Therefore, you need to choose according to your own situation in the exam, and you will get a good grade if you do the questions you can do right.

Mentality adjustment

In the last month, don't be impetuous, and don't completely deny all previous efforts just because of asmall failure, be confident, review the mistakes, and calmly take the examination. Life is long, and the college entrance examination is an important part of it, but it is not the end. Therefore, don't give up hope and hard work at any time, you should measure your achievements over a period of time by whether you have improved.

When I was in high school, there was a period of time I was thinking about where I could go in the future and what I could achieve. These thoughts occupied my heart and prevented me from enjoying what I had, whichhave caused me a lot of pressure. I want achievements too much. The result is that I lose my love and passion for life and learning. Before the exam, I couldn't eat well and sleep well. I cannot accept failure.

These thoughts have created too much pressure for me. As I grew up, I realized that even if I achieved my goals, I would not be satisfied. New goals will replace the goals that have already been achieved. Now let’s return to the topic of admonishing myself in high school: Slow down and enjoy this journey. Maybe success is not determined by how many goals and what achievements we can achieve.Success is to learn to enjoy every month, every day, every moment.Don’t regret your high school life.“
