CDIC Held the 2021 Fall Semester Opening Work Deployment Meeting

On the morning of September 2, 2021, the college held the 2021 fall semester opening work deployment meeting in the conference room on the fourth floor of the Hongyuan Teaching Building. Members of the college leadership team and all faculty members participated in the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Wang Hainian, Secretary of the Party Branch and Dean of CDIC.

At the meeting, Wang Hainian arranged and deployed the key tasks of the college’s various departments in the next semester of 2021, including the college’s party building work, teaching and academic affairs, student management, international exchanges, system improvement, college construction and publicity, college cultural system construction, and campus safety and stability work. He emphasized that with the continuous expansion of the scale of the college's staff and the increase in workload, it is necessary to further strengthen the communication between the employees in various departments and establish a bridge for information sharing. All faculty and staff must unify their thinking, build consensus, form a joint force, and jointly implement the various tasks of the college in place, and contribute to the creation of the college's international atmosphere and the continuous improvement of the strength of Sino-foreign cooperative education.

Yao Yiliang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch and Deputy Dean of CDIC, and Bai Qiang, Deputy Dean of CDIC, respectively gave detailed explanations on the college’s assessment and evaluation requirements, double first-class discipline construction and talent training. Starting from the requirement of Three All-round Education put forward by General Secretary Xi, Yao Yiliang simultaneously conveyed the interim measures for target responsibility management and performance appraisal that the college as a directly affiliated unit of the university must follow, as well as related measures for the reform of the college's internal evaluation and salary distribution system. He pointed out that in the comprehensive reform pilot program, the college will explore a new modern employment mechanism, build faculty positions and ranks, and associate them with salary packages, so as to achieve a virtuous circle of paying for rewards in the college. He advocated to exert the spirit of hard work in work, actively carry out self-physical and psychological construction, family construction and business construction, and take on the important task of the main body of education. Bai Qiang elaborated on the college's double first-class discipline construction process and talent training model, and called on all departments to actively deepen their understanding of the college's development profile and routine work, pool their wisdom, and jointly build the college's brand, so as to establish the college as an advanced unit leading the reform of Sino-foreign cooperative education in the country.


Finally, Wang Hainian made the following requirements for the various departments of the college in the summary of the meeting: First, all faculty and staff must improve their ideological position, enhance overall awareness, strengthen cooperation, and strive to maximize the effectiveness of their work; Second, they must continue to promote Entrepreneurship, work proactively, and implement high standards and strict requirements on themselves; Third, they must face the work of the college with a good attitude, not be afraid of difficulties, continue to innovate, and strive to promote the construction of the college to achieve the same develop and share prosperity and disgrace.
