CDIC Held a Seminar for Head Teachers in the First Semester of 2021-2022 Academic Year

In order to further strengthen the construction of CDIC's head teachers team and promote the institutionalization, standardization and scientificization of the work of the head teachers, the college held a seminar for the first semester of the 2021-2022 school year on September 2 in the conference room on the fourth floor of the Hongyuan Teaching Building. Wang Hainian, Secretary of the Party Branch and Dean of CDIC, Yao Yiliang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch and Deputy Dean of CDIC, Yang Guanghui, Special Advisor of CDIC, head teachers of all grades of the college, and faculty and staff of the Office of Student Affairs attended the meeting. Wang Hainian expressed his gratitude to all the head teachers for their hard work and support in the college's talent training work, and affirmed and appreciated the work results achieved in the past year. He emphasized that the construction of the team of head teachers is an important part of the university's talent training system, and it is necessary to give full play to the role of the head teacher as a bridge and link. At the same time, he hopes that head teachers can make full use of the platform provided by the college, give full play to the advantages of Sino-foreign cooperative education, deeply understand the characteristics of students, carry out curriculum reform and talent training research, better play the role of head teachers in the growth of students, and develop together with the college.

Yao Yiliang explained the management methods for the selection and appointment of head teachers of the college, focusing on the evaluation management and incentive system of the head teachers. He pointed out that the head teacher is an important force in the ideological and political education, management and service of college students, and the management of head teachers is an important part of fine education and comprehensive management. The college will continue to strengthen the assessment and management of the head teachers, establish an effective incentive mechanism to promote improvement and implementation with assessment, and strive to create a working atmosphere that advocates hard work.

Based on the college's joint training model of 4+0, dual-student status, dual-degree, and bilingual education, Yang Guanghui interpreted the work characteristics of head teachers in the college and put forward constructive suggestions. He hopes that the head teachers can have an in-depth understanding of the curriculum and training plans of the Sino-foreign cooperative education program, combine the college’s international talent training characteristics with the students’ personal characteristics, carry out educational management, track students’ ideological trends and summarize work experience in time to provide effective references for follow-up work.

At the meeting, the 2019 and 2020 head teachers made work reports for the 2020-2021 school year, reviewing and summarizing their work of the past year in terms of academic guidance, class style and academic style construction, innovation and entrepreneurship guidance, home-school communication and exchanges, and looked forward to the future work.
