On the afternoon of July 19, 2021, CDIC held a teaching coordination meeting of the 2021 Immersive English Summer Camp in the conference room on the fourth floor of Hongyuan Teaching Building. Wang Hainian, Secretary of the Party Branch and Dean of CDIC, Yao Yiliang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch and Deputy Dean of CDIC, Li Guangxian, the special consultant for the summer camp, and all the head teachers attended thismeeting.

Wang Hainian said that the teaching content and organizational form are the basis for running this immersive English summer camp. The summer camp aims to effectively stimulate students' interest in English learning through diversified teaching themes and abundant activities in and out of class, cultivate their confident and generous attitude towards international communication, and further broaden their international horizons. He hoped that through this teaching coordination meeting, the college could further strengthen the communication with foreign teachers, improve the feedback and coordination mechanism, better stimulate the enthusiasm of students to participate in various activities, and improve their English thinking and communication skills, so as to successfully complete the objectives of this English summercamp.

All the head teachers gave brief reports on the feedback of students in their classes and their classroom observations. This summer camp has various themes while the foreign teachers' teaching methods are humorous and interesting, and the international volunteers are enthusiastic and conscientious, which are of great help to improve the students' comprehensive ability to use English language. At the same time, the students suggested to strengthen the organization of various forms of cross-cultural exchange activities so that they could have the opportunity to learn more about the culture of other countries and expand everyone's internationalhorizons.

Finally, Li Guangxian said that he would timely report to all foreign teachers and international volunteers the suggestions and opinions of students and head teachers, and help to implement various measures as soon as possible to further improve the overall quality of this immersive English summer camp and the satisfaction of all teachers andstudents.
