On the morning of July 23, 2021, CDIC held a summary meeting of the 2021 Immersive English Summer Camp in the conference room on the fourth floor of Hongyuan Teaching Building. Wang Hainian, Secretary of the Party Branch and Dean of CDIC, Yao Yiliang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch and Deputy Dean of CDIC, Bai Qiang, Deputy Dean of CDIC, Yang Guanghui, Special Advisor of CDIC, Li Guangxian, the special consultant for the summer camp, and all the faculty and staff of CDIC attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Yao Yiliang.

At the meeting, the heads of all the offices of CDIC gave their detailed reports on the various tasks and highlights of their offices during the summer camp. They deeply reflected on the shortcomings in the preparation of the summer camp, and proposed corresponding improvement measures based on the current problems and hidden dangers, which laid a solid foundation for the smooth holding of the college's summer camp activities next year.。

Wang Hainian fully recognized the hard work and achievements of all departments of the college during the summer camp. He emphasized that the immersive English summer camp is a full-staff project and will become a regular feature activity of the college. Therefore, the purpose of this meeting is to summarize valuable experience, explore problems, and discuss improvement measures, so as to lay a solid foundation for making summer camp activities better and better, and continuously improving the teaching quality and the international level of the college. In this regard, he asked all the faculty and staff of the college to take the initiative to think about and summarize the practical experience in the summer camp related work in combination with their job responsibilities, and steadily promote the specific implementation of the system improvement and reform content.

Yao Yiliang affirmed and appreciated the work report and self-reflection of each department of CDIC. He believed that the practical experience in the summer camp related work summarized by the college faculty is a valuable asset which has important reference significance for the development of the college's summer camp activities next year. At the same time, he added to the work that needs to be improved during the summer camp. He hopes that all the faculty and staff of the college will have a unified understanding of the summer camp activities to be held next year and actively do a good job in the early mobilization, process supervision, and later publicity of the activities. Additionally, he reminded all departments to take the logistics service, teaching content review, practical teaching arrangement, teaching quality evaluation, teacher and student attendance management and other tasks into place, and plan overall to provide practical guarantee for the students' training experience and learning gains.

Yang Guanghui and Li Guangxian respectively evaluated the work of the summer camp activities and put forward constructive opinions. They hope that the college can increase students’ participation enthusiasm through early publicity and mobilization, cultivate students’ international vision through cultural background education, standardize student management systems, regularly collect feedback from students, maintain close communication with teachers and students of the summer camp, summarize the work experience in time to provide effective reference for follow-up work.
