CDIC's 2021 Orientation Work Successfully Completed

On the evening of August 26, the three-day orientation of CDIC was successfully completed.


In order to ensure that the orientation work is carried out in an efficient and orderly manner, the college makes detailed arrangements for the registration of new students in advance, and uniformly trains volunteers and student leaders on the guidance of new students. The Student Union produced publicity panels with both pictures and texts to showcase the college's advantages in education, training characteristics and student demeanor. The ingenious form of publicity attracted freshmen to stop and watch. The faculty, student cadres, and volunteer students of the Office of Student Affairs, in accordance with the work requirements of safety, enthusiasm, standardization, and simplicity, with a high sense of responsibility and a positive working attitude, do their work carefully and meticulously to create a warm, thoughtful, safe and orderly welcome environment for new students.


Freshmen registration took place on the west side of Zhaohui Stadium. The scorching sun could hardly resist the enthusiasm of the new students. At 3 o'clock in the afternoon on August 24, CDIC officially welcomed the first batch of 2021 freshmen who came to register. The student cadres and volunteers formed the orientation team and divided into different groups to complete the registration of new students, luggage handling, and explanation of dormitory precautions. The registration office, the data verification office, and the freshman gift package distribution office all carried out their work in an orderly manner. In each link, there are enthusiastic volunteers to provide guidance and question answering services for freshmen.

During the registration of freshmen, Wang Hainian, Secretary of the Party Branch and Dean of CDIC, and Yao Yiliang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch and Deputy Dean of CDIC, successively visited the welcome site to inquire about the registration situation and had cordial conversations with the students. All faculty and staff of the Office of Student Affairs went to the freshman registration office to make arrangements, striving to ensure that every task can be carried out in a safe and orderly manner on the premise of doing a good job in COVID-19 prevention.

The enthusiastic and thoughtful orientation work of all teachers and students provides high-quality and efficient services for the freshmen. Although there was an endless stream of new students who came to register, the whole orientation work is orderly due to adequate preparation and arrangements. With the end of the registration of the last new student, the college's orientation work was successfully completed, helping the 2021 students to open the door to a new life, a new starting point, and a new hope.
