On the morning of April 30th, lead by Wang Hainian, dean of CDIC, members of CDIC administrations and heads of various departments went to the School of Transportation Engineering for visiting and study. The research symposium was held in the Conference Room 613 of the School of Transportation Engineering. Tian Xinmin (Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Transportation Engineering), Yuan Changwei (Dean), Li Yan (director of the Institute of Relations and the head of the department) attended the symposium. The meeting was presided over by Tian Xinmin.
The Meeting
Tian Xinmin extended a warm welcome to the research team of CDIC and briefly introduced the basic situation of the School of Transportation Engineering. At the same time, he proposed that in the future work, the School of Transportation Engineering will further support CDIC and actively participate in various activities organized by CDIC.
Wang Hainian expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the School of Transportation Engineering for its strong support, and expressed his hope that through this visiting and study, CDIC’s education level of transportation engineering major will be continuously improved, and the cultivation level of professional international talents in the two colleges will be strengthened.
Yao Yiliang, deputy dean of CDIC, and Yuan Changwei, dean of the School of Transportation Engineering, respectively gave a detailed introduction to the basic situation of the two colleges and the status quo of various work. Both parties expressed their hope of further strengthening cooperation and exchanges, introducing first-class teachers at home and abroad, focusing on improving the international competitiveness of the school's transportation students, and continuing to help the university's building of double first class.
Participants discussed and exchanged on the innovation of Sino-foreign cooperative education teaching mode, education and teaching reform, guarantee of teaching staff, and sharing of characteristic resources. This symposium is conducive to enhancing the understanding of the work of the two colleges, and is of great significance to the in-depth cooperation, resource sharing and personnel training of the two colleges.
