On the morning of May 12th, Wang Hainian (dean of CDIC), Yao Yiliang (deputy dean of CDIC), Bai Qiang (deputy dean of CDIC) and the heads of various departments went to the School of Automobile to discuss the promotion of the strengthening of Sino-foreign cooperation in automotive engineering major. The meeting was held in Conference Room 338 of the School of Automobile. Guo Yingshi(Dean), Ni Fengying (Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee), Qiu Zhaowen (Deputy Dean), Chen Yisong (Professor of Sino-foreign Cooperation in Automotive engineering), heads of relevant departments and representatives of the School of Automobile attended the symposium. The meeting was presided over by Guo Yingshi.
Guo Yingshi extended a warm welcome to the arrival of CDIC’s research team, and briefly introduced the basic situation of the School of automobile. He said that the School of Automobile will fully support the strengthening of CDIC’s automotive engineering major, and further support and deepen communication with CDIC in the fields of student’s innovation and entrepreneurship activities, and exchanges and cooperation within the industry.
Wang Hainian expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the School of Automobile for its support, and briefly introduced the basic situation of CDIC, focusing on the relevant situation CDIC’s automotive engineering major. Wang Hainian expressed the hope that through this exchange, the two institutes can deeply understand the needs of CDIC’s automotive engineering major, further allocate various resources, establish a sound and efficient communication mechanism, and jointly promote the cultivation of talents and teachers in CDIC’s automotive engineering major. He hoped that the work could be carried out steadily, and the Sino-foreign cooperation education in automotive engineering majors can be carried out with high quality.
The Meeting
Yao Yiliang and Bai Qiang respectively gave brief speeches on the teaching operation and guarantee of CDIC, the establishment of international talent cultivation cooperation platform, and the necessary support. They also expressed the hope that the two academies can carry out in-depth exchanges and cooperation in various fields from multiple aspects to ensure the quality of talent cultivation in CDIC’s automotive engineering major. Ni Fengying and Qiu Zhaowen introduced the development of the School of Automobile on the enrollment and publicity of CDIC’s automotive engineering major, and expressed the hope that the two colleges will further enhance communication and exchanges in terms of enrollment publicity, school-enterprise cooperation in the industry, and return visits to graduate employers, which could lay a solid foundation for improving the quality of talent cultivation.
Finally, Wang Hainian made a full summary of the symposium. He said that this exchange is a good start. The two colleges will establish a thorough communication mechanism to successfully run the automotive engineering major with high quality, improve the overall internationalization level of CDIC’s automotive engineering major. Some achievements could be made in personnel training, teacher level strengthening and international scientific research cooperation, etc., which could contribute to the personnel training and discipline strengthening of CDIC.
