On the morning of April 10, 2021, the opening ceremony ofCDIC’ssecondphase ofIELTS course was successfully held in the lecture hall on the fifth floor of Hongyuan Building, Weishui Campus of Chang'an University.Deputy deans ofCDIC-YaoYiliangandBai Qiang, and 90 selected students participated intheevent.

This is the secondtimeCDICorganizeIELTS course(jointlyorganized by the Student Affairs Department of Chang’anUniversity). It aims to promoteuniversity’sinternational development,andimprove students ‘level ofinternationalcommunication.

At the opening ceremony, Bai Qiang first congratulated the students who were successfully selected for this IELS class. Then he emphasized the importance ofimprovingEnglish.Finally, he put forward theexpectation.he hopes students cancherish opportunities,studyseriouslywithcorrectattitude.

The IELTS class continues the previousmode.Itis divided into basic classes, improved classes and intensive classes based on the placement test results of selected students.Thisclassification according to the actual English level is helpful in accurately arrange the progress of the course according to the students’ English level and to set the level-based learning goals for the students according tostudents withdifferent English level. The course is dedicated to effectively improving the comprehensive level of English of the selectedstudents,whichhelps the university's internationalizedtalentcultivation.
