On the afternoon of September 18, 2020, CDIC held a Professor explain majors  event for 2020 freshmen. CDIC invited Yang Guanghui (a professor of road bridge and river crossing engineering major), Chen Yisong (a professor of Automotive engineering), and Xiao Mei (a professor of transportation engineering major), to give wonderful “Professor explain majors presentations for the three majors of CDIC.

In the presentation, the three teachers gave a detailed introduction to the historical origin, development history, connotation, cultivation goals, curriculum system, future development direction, and future employment direction of each major, and gave students specific recommendations for how to learn their own majors well. The students spoke enthusiastically and asked questions; the professors also gave detailed answers to the questions that the students were concerned about.

The activity deepened students' understanding of their major, pointed out the direction for their future major study, and laid the foundation for their future study.
