On the morning of September 23, Wang Hainian (college dean), Yao Yiliang (deputy dean), and Bai Qiang (deputy dean) led a team to Northwestern Polytechnical University’s Queen Mary University of London Engineering School for communication and investigation. They discussed with Kong Jie (Dean of the Queen Mary University of London Engineering School), Cheng Yin (Deputy Dean). The symposium was presided over by Dean Kong Jie. The purpose of this symposium was to learn the advanced experience of Sino-foreign cooperation education in brother universities.

At the meeting, Chen Chen introduced the basic situation of the Queen Mary University of London Engineering School from the aspects of background introduction, institution building, party strengthening, and enrollment work. Yao Yiliang also introduced the basic situation of CDIC in the aspects of major setting, teaching organization, teaching resources, and student development. Afterwards, the participants had discussions on party strengthening, talent cultivation, financial management, student status management, and double master's programs.
After the meeting, the research team visited the office area and teaching facilities of the Queen Mary University of London Engineering School, and the two parties took a group photo.
