The online parent meeting for 2020 freshmen of CDIC was successfully held

In order to further strengthen home-school communication, realize home-school co-education, and work together to guide students on study and life during the pandemic, CDIC held an online parent meeting for 2020 freshmen at 19:00 on September 25. Wang Hainian (College Dean), Yao Yiliang (DeputyDean), Bai Qiang (Deputy Dean), Wang Yarong (University Admissions Office Deputy Director), and Yang Guanghui (College Teaching Supervisor) attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by YaoYiliang.

Wang Hainian gave a detailed introduction to CDIC's general situation, major settings, teaching resources, teaching organization and student development, demonstrating CDIC's characteristics of Sino-foreign cooperation and the advantages of students studyingabroad.

Bai Qiang introduced CDIC's educational administration management methods to the students’parents, and gave a careful and detailed explanation of the dual-degreestatus, assessment system and graduationrequirements.

In the interactive communication session with parents, Wang Hainian, Yao Yiliang, Bai Qiang and Yang Guanghui respectively answered specific questions about the studying abroad, the strengthening of English foundation, the daily teaching management and the dormitory environment that parents careabout.

Jia Jieyu (director of the Educational Administration Office), Sun Shiqiang (director of the Student Affairs Department), Chen Shuo (secretary of the Youth League Committee), Li Yuhang (instructorof class of 2020), Wang Yihan and Xu Chenxi, (staff members of the Educational Administration Office), attended the meeting in the conference room on the fourth floor of CDIC. The parents of new students,totaled more than 300 people, attended the symposiumonline.


Through this online parent meeting, parents have an in-depth understanding of CDIC’s software and hardware facilities, student cultivation models, and teaching management methods. As a result, the interconnection and mutual trust between home and schoolwas strengthened, which can hele freshman to integrate into college life more quickly and has laid a solid foundation for theirfuturestudy.
