On the afternoon of October 8th, CDIC held a seminar on the basic modulesof Sino-foreign cooperativeeducation. Wang Hainian (Dean of CDIC), Yang Guanghui(SpecialConsultant), Jia Jieyu(Director of theAcademicaffairs Office), and teachers who are responsible for the teaching of generalmodulesin this semester attended themeeting.
Wang Hainian expressed his sincere gratitude to the teachers who taught the general modules this semester.He then briefly introduced the development process of CDIC's Sino-foreign cooperationeducation. He said that the general modules of general education are the foundation of undergraduate education and are essential for students' later learning of core curriculums. The general modules have many classhours and heavy tasks. Hehopedthat all teachers can work together with CDIC to effectively improve the quality of course teaching and lay a solid foundation for cultivating international talents that meet the high standards and strict requirements of Sino-foreigncooperation.

Jia Jieyu briefly introduced the basic situation of CDIC, focusing on CDIC's management organization structure, talent cultivation goals, enrollment status, and the teaching arrangements for the generalmodules.
Hou Zhaoyang shared the relevant teaching experience of general modules. He emphasized that individualized teaching plans should be formulated. Through various teaching models, students' initiative should be fully mobilized, students' interest in learning should be cultivated, and students' independent learning ability should be improved. At the same time, due to particularity of Sino-foreign cooperationeducation, teachers should also improve their Englishin the whole process of talentcultivation.

Yang Guanghuput forward suggestions on the management of the general modules. He said that the school attached great importance to the teaching quality.It is recommended to effectively strengthen the teacher admission evaluation mechanism, to builda whole-process course evaluation system andtoimplement multi-angle evaluation of teaching result. In order to improve the teaching quality,CDIC would also develop a series of training forteachers.
