On the morning of August 8, 2020, CDIC held the first meeting of all the staff in the conference room on the fifth floor of Hongyuan Building on the North Campus.The purpose of the meeting is to clarify the organization and division of work, and arrange the deployment of key tasks in the near future. CDIC’s party administration team and all the staff attended the meeting. The meetingwas presided over by Wang Hainian, dean ofCDIC.
Wang Hainian introduced the organization and staffing of CDIC, and thanked all departments and training units for their support. He put forward some specific requirements for the next step of CDIC's work.: First, improve our standing. Chang’an university attached great importance to the work of Sino-foreign cooperation education, and strives to build CDIC as an innovation port and experimental field for Chang'an University. As working members of the cooperative practice base, CDICstaffshould enhance their sense of mission and honor and do not let down the trust of university administrations.Second, continue to learn. In order to realize the effective development of work, all members must learn their work-related knowledge, learn to communicate with relevant departments, and at the same time learn the talent cultivation modelsof Sino-foreign cooperation education, and do various tasks on the basis of clarifying the particularities of Sino-foreign cooperation education.Third, must be mentally prepared. At present, all the work of CDIC is in its start-up stage, the affairs are complicated and difficult. The leading cadres and staff of CDIC must be fully prepared, carry forward the entrepreneurial spirit of hard work, establish the concept ofworkhappily, and strive for the same goal.Fourth, must take the initiative to carry out work. For the work, we must plan ahead, deploy in advance, actively discover and think about problems, have the courage to put forward ideas and plans, and carry out work creatively. Leading Cadres must actively take responsibilities and give full play to the collective competence and role.Fifth, must attach importance to cooperation. All staffsshould base themselves on their own responsibilities, continue to push forward their work while exploring, and create and maintain a good working atmosphere, cherish opportunities. Moreover, they should give full play to their advantages, make up their shortcomings, cooperate closely to maintain a new stateandachieve newachievements.
Yao Yiliang deployedstudent affairs related work in terms of division of work arrangements, student situation planning, management system formulation, military training and orientation, etc. He pointed out that in the process of engaging in student ideological and political education, staffs must take the initiative to think, follow the trend of internationalization, and highlight Sino-foreign cooperation’s characteristics, and strive to transform more work into valuable results. Bai Qiang introduced major teaching work such as major and grade recognition, student grade assessment, teaching and educational administration inspection, teaching quality improvement. He also put forward specific requirements for improving students' enthusiasmof going abroad and promoting publicity of language learning in thefuture.
The meeting also made arrangements for summer school scheduling, renovation of teaching venues, and the guarantee of officeconditions.
