On the afternoon of March 6th, Rector of Villa College Dr. Ahmed Anwar and his delegation visited CDIC to investigate the development of Sino-foreign cooperative education. Zhang Wei, Dean of International Education School, accompanied the visit. Zhao Liang, Secretary of the General Party Branch of CDIC, Yao Yiliang, Deputy Secretary of the General Party Branch and Deputy Dean of CDIC, and Bai Qiang, Deputy Dean of CDIC attended the discussion and exchange.

Before the symposium, accompanied by Zhao Liang and Yao Yiliang, Dr. Ahmed Anwar and his delegation visited the multi-media interactive classrooms, observation classrooms, academic lecture halls, foreign teachers' offices and other teaching and office space of the college, and made an in-depth investigation of the international talent training facilities.

At the symposium, Bai Qiang introduced the Sino-foreign cooperative education of CDIC from the aspects of specialty setting, cooperative colleges and talent training. The foreign side gave full affirmation to the operation and development of CDIC and introduced the general situation of the development of Villa College. In the free exchange session, the two sides made full exchanges on strengthening international cooperation based on their advantages and development needs, and reached the cooperation intention of promoting the construction of international practice platform and carrying out overseas summer camp.

The Symposium Scene

This visit and exchange provided useful guidance and innovative exploration for improving the quality and efficiency of Sino-foreign cooperative education of CDIC and improving the quality of talent training of "New engineering +Large transportation +Internationalization". CDIC will take this event as an opportunity to actively expand international exchanges and cooperation, and strive to cultivate high-level interdisciplinary talents with national feelings and international vision.
