CDIC held an exam board meeting

On the afternoon of March 10, 2021, CDIC and the University College Dublin jointly held an exam board meeting (Provisional CDIC CHD-UCD Management Meeting: Grade Approval Process). This meeting took the form of remote video. Bai Qiang (CDIC Deputy Dean), Affairs Jia Jieyu (Director of Teaching and Academicof CDIC), Paul Fanning (UCD Dean), Paula McGarry (UCD China Joint Office Director), etc. attended themeeting.

At this meeting, Paul Fanning gave a detailed explanation to all participants about the University College Dublin’s updated performance evaluation workflow in2019.

The updated Grade Approval Process consists of four parts:

1.CDIC’shead of different coursesuses the system account set up by the University College Dublin to enter and upload student scores and course reviews to thesystem

2.Reviewing conducted byCDIC Course EvaluationCommittee

3.Conducting final assessment on the examination committee set up by the Academic Committee of theCDIC

4.After confirming that all the results are correct, the grades will bereleased.

CDIC is student-oriented. CDICmaintaininternational standards, adopt the performance evaluation process established by the University College Dublin, and reviewing the results of each semester based on the principle of high standards, strict requirements, and no errors. The mutual learning of the high-quality teaching management model between the two universities will promote the international development of the university's undergraduate education and the overall teaching staff and help the first-class disciplineconstruction.
